Hanna Ji is a designer, researcher, and graduate student, exploring the meaning of good design.
Hanna Ji is a Master of Design student at the University of Arkansas. She was born in South Korea, and has called North Carolina home since 2003. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication with emphasis on Editing and Graphic Design from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has over 10 years of professional experience in branding and marketing.
She has a strong desire to deepen her understanding of the intersection of design and social innovation throughout her graduate studies. She believes that design is a powerful tool for influencing people’s behaviors and shaping societies, and that designers have a responsibility to consider the social implications of their work. Through her studies, she seeks to discover ways to create meaningful change and make a positive social impact by adopting sustainable design practices, addressing social challenges, and nurturing the next generation of socially responsible designers.
